Tractor Operated Mobile Grain Dryer in Arani
Looking for a mobile grain dryer in Arani? Shomas Engineering Company, based in Dabaspete, Bangalore, builds the SGMD2000, SGMD3000 and SGMD5000 and delivers them to buyers in Arani and across Tamil Nadu. One machine can serve several mills, yards and farms around Arani through the season.
The Shomas range gives you three batch sizes: 2000 kg (SGMD2000), 3000 kg (SGMD3000) and 5000 kg (SGMD5000) of maize per batch. All three dry paddy, wheat, maize, grains and pulses, and can take moisture down from as high as 40% to 14%.
Why Arani needs a mobile grain dryer
Drying demand in Tamil Nadu peaks with the samba and kuruvai paddy seasons. As the northeast monsoon often overlaps with harvest, leaving very little dry weather, buyers near Arani look for a machine they can bring to the grain rather than carrying wet grain to a fixed plant. The main crops in Tamil Nadu that buyers dry include paddy and maize.
- Start drying paddy and other grain within hours of harvest
- Tow the dryer to the mill, mandi, yard or farm with a tractor
- Remove 3% moisture per hour in paddy and wheat, and up to 5% in maize
- Finish with grain at 12% to 14% moisture for safe storage and sale
