Tractor Operated Mobile Grain Dryer in Jagdalpur
Looking for a mobile grain dryer in Jagdalpur? Shomas Engineering Company, based in Dabaspete, Bangalore, builds the SGMD2000, SGMD3000 and SGMD5000 and delivers them to buyers in Jagdalpur and across Chhattisgarh. One machine can serve several mills, yards and farms around Jagdalpur through the season.
The Shomas range gives you three batch sizes: 2000 kg (SGMD2000), 3000 kg (SGMD3000) and 5000 kg (SGMD5000) of maize per batch. All three dry paddy, wheat, maize, grains and pulses, and can take moisture down from as high as 40% to 14%.
Why Jagdalpur needs a mobile grain dryer
Drying demand in Chhattisgarh peaks with the kharif paddy procurement season from November to January. As large volumes of paddy move to procurement centres within a short window, buyers near Jagdalpur look for a machine they can bring to the grain rather than carrying wet grain to a fixed plant. The main crops in Chhattisgarh that buyers dry include paddy, maize and pulses.
- Start drying paddy and other grain within hours of harvest
- Tow the dryer to the mill, mandi, yard or farm with a tractor
- Remove 3% moisture per hour in paddy and wheat, and up to 5% in maize
- Finish with grain at 12% to 14% moisture for safe storage and sale
