Tractor Operated Mobile Grain Dryer in Rohtas
Looking for a mobile grain dryer in Rohtas? Shomas Engineering Company, based in Dabaspete, Bangalore, builds the SGMD2000, SGMD3000 and SGMD5000 and delivers them to buyers in Rohtas and across Bihar. One machine can serve several mills, yards and farms around Rohtas through the season.
The Shomas range gives you three batch sizes: 2000 kg (SGMD2000), 3000 kg (SGMD3000) and 5000 kg (SGMD5000) of maize per batch. All three dry paddy, wheat, maize, grains and pulses, and can take moisture down from as high as 40% to 14%.
Why Rohtas needs a mobile grain dryer
Drying demand in Bihar peaks with the rabi maize harvest in March and April and the kharif paddy harvest. As humid weather and unseasonal rain leave freshly harvested maize wet for days, buyers near Rohtas look for a machine they can bring to the grain rather than carrying wet grain to a fixed plant. The main crops in Bihar that buyers dry include maize, paddy and wheat.
- Start drying maize and other grain within hours of harvest
- Tow the dryer to the mill, mandi, yard or farm with a tractor
- Remove 3% moisture per hour in paddy and wheat, and up to 5% in maize
- Finish with grain at 12% to 14% moisture for safe storage and sale
